LEO-OTRx-NPO

Compact, solder-reflowable VCSEL optical engine.

A 112 Gb/s (4 × 28 Gb/s) optical transceiver with four transmit and four receive lanes, combining GaAs VCSEL and photodiode arrays with our custom SiGe BiCMOS driver and TIA chipset.

designed for integration

Optical connectivity close to the electronics.

The BGA interface allows solder reflow on the host board, allowing placement close to the host ASIC or FPGA. A removable low-profile MT optical connector mates to the molded lens assembly.

Potential applications include intra-satellite links, AI and HPC interconnects, harsh-environment links, data-center optical networking and automotive optical links.
