  • Business development
    • Founder of Constelex Technology Enablers Ltd, a high-tech start-up focusing on the design, development and commercialization of optical fiber amplifiers for Aerospace, Defence and Space applications.
    • Raised funds to implement the start-up strategic growth plan. Raised ~€1.7m of research funding
    • Constelex acquired by Gooch & Housego in 2013.
    • As G&H Chief Scientist - Space Photonics, had leading role in the bidding team that won multi-million R&D & commercial contracts on inter-satellite lasercom links.
    • Co-ordinated and led the technology transfer, development & new product introduction of space qualified optical fiber amplifiers.
    • Responsible for the exploitation & dissemination planning in several EC-funded R&D projects.
    • Inventor of 3 patents (USPTO)
